Your medical device collects and processes a lot of data - suitable interfaces can use this data to create additional value for your users and patients: manual workflows can be automated using interoperable data interfaces. At a technical level, support and maintenance can be simplified, while at a clinical level, the consolidation of data can enable early and precise diagnoses.
With our expertise in connectivity and interoperability, we help you to leverage the potential of your medical devices.
How We Work Connectivity is the basis for interoperability. We therefore work with you to develop a concept of which hardware interfaces should be used to connect your device to a network - either directly, e.g. via a WLAN interface on the device, or indirectly, e.g. via a Bluetooth connection to a smartphone.
For this concept, we also consider security objectives from IT security, as this can also result in requirements for the hardware and software used. Once the system architecture has been determined, we define syntactic and semantic interfaces. In doing so, we rely on recognized standards, e.g. HL7 FHIR for the exchange of health information. We use our medical software engineering processes and tools for implementation.
